If the UPS continues to flash lights and beep, the UPS probable has an internal fault. I've had one UPS get zapped by a power surge. You will need to contact APC regarding this condition. If the UPS is running normally now and you can connect the UPS to a computer with the PowerChute application installed, you can check to see what the load on the UPS is. Another way is to unplug the UPS from the wall and see if it operates normally when it switches to battery. If it starts flashing lights and beeping you are probably overloading the UPS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I myself try to match the load to the ups. So a gaming system should have a large battery backup. Even if plugged in. It can switch during a brown out and you will be signaled of over draw. If you have not seen this before it maybe that the battery is at its end of life from cycling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately likely what happened was the UPS became overload because during the game you were pulling more power. You would want to make sure you keep the power draw on the UPS under 360 watts so it doesn't overload the UPS. Anything over that will overload the UPS like you are seeing right now.
