Yes, provided it is connected to the app (either My Q or Alexa, though I believe Google is also capable of viewing from the camera. The controller must be connected via WiFi wherever the camera is used. I can view the camera from My Q or Alexa but can only open the door with My Q controller.

MyQ app will, the camera will not. It’s only a camera, not a door opener.

Open or shut? You can check the camera when your away from home as long as the camera is connected to your home wifi. The garage door can be controlled the the myQ app if you have a myQ door opener. The camera is seen in the app and you can open or close it on the same page. Hope this helps.
