Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Both the HP02 and HP04 machines feature both heating and cooling, in addition to purification. The HP04 is an updated model. The HP02 has 180 degrees of oscillation, while the HP04 will oscillate 350 degrees. The HP04 also features a backward airflow setting, so in cooler months if you don't want to use heat, but still purify the air in your room, you can have the air flowing out the back of the loop, rather than directly in to the room.
