Get the warranty. Under the two years, dyson is great for problems. Mine broke one month after the warranty ended. The part would cost me as much as a new product

dyson warranty is great. any issues for the first 2 years. just bring your machine to local ups store after calling dyson. And the ups store will package & ship. In my history with bestbuy even when I purchase a product without geek squad warranty at the time & when the time comes up when my factory warranty is about to expire best buy always email me with an option to buy the warranty. whenever you make a purchase make sure it's stored under your updated information (email).

Hi Margie, this is Krystal with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Animal includes a 2-year manufacturer limited warranty when purchased new from Dyson directly or an authorized retailer such as Best Buy.

I had a Dyson hairdryer (super expensive... like almost $700) After a year of use it just died. I called Dyson and after a couple questions they sent me a return label, and quickly shipped out a brand new, upgraded model! And then, who knows why, they separately shipped me a gift of a velvet travel bag for the dryer. I am 100% all in on Dyson's Customer Service. That said, it's very convenient to have BB and the Geek Squad in town. Thank Heavens for all the Geeks who know their way around technology!
