The eero will not extend the Evo wifi network. What you do is plug one eero into your modem/internet source via ethernet cable, that eero will become head/Gateway eero and create its own wifi network. Other eero can connect to that gateway eero (wired or wirelessly) and extend the network. These particular eero (the eero 6) covers up to 1500 sq ft each, depending on environment of course.
