Hi -Thank you for reaching out to us. The industry standard for comparing energy usage is by using the DOE test and comparing Annual Dryer Energy Use (kWh/yr) and Dryer Combined Energy Factor (CEF). Gas and electric dryers both use CEF, so you can easily compare energy efficiency. The higher the CEF, the better the efficiency. When drying, the Annual Dryer Energy Use is 399 kWh/yr and the CEF is 6.00, which is very good as compared to energy star dryers with a CEF of 3.93. We do hope this is helpful.
