I think I found the answer. It's a matter of proximity conflict with any other blue tooth device. The Onyx can handle only one blue tooth "request" at a time. When using the speaker, from my computer, the speaker dropped out the moment my Iphone blue tooth tried to connect. When I turned the Iphone blue tooth off, the Onyx worked perfectly and has continued to do so from that moment on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the similar problem, not related to the Bluetooth but even with AUX cable. First, I thought it was the problem with the Bluetooth. So I turned off all Bluetooth devices around, and connected it with an AUX cable. But once in a while, I am still losing sound. I could not figure out. I wish I could return it asap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope its junk!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because it has inherent problems you will never solve. I have same problems, return it as soon as you can! I had bought a TV for over 500 dollars and paid using a new best buy credit card, which gave me a 45 dollar credit towards next purchase, but has a time limit so I bought this speaker to not lose my earned credit. Due to a death in the family I didnt get to try it for a week. My 2 main intentions were to use to play music from my phone via bluetooth, and also as a PC speaker. Speaker doesnt connect, and when it does it disconnects constantly. As a PC speaker, forget it! Theres so much rumble you cant even hear the sound! So I decided to try not ipod via the auxiliary input. No good, it cuts out the beginnings of songs fairly consistently. I tried over the course of a week but it apparantly has issues, read other reviews...all of them! I called best buy and they said since it was 19 Days I was beyond the 15 day return window. WHO HAS A 15 DAY RERURN WINDOW THESE DAYS?! I begged and they put me on hold only to come back and tell me no again. Very dissapointed in Best buy and will not forget this next time I'm shopping as theres so much competition out there. I was told to call Harmon kardon, which I did...press this try that nothing fixed it so I pleaded that I just want to return this item ASAP, and get my credit back to use to buy another one from best buy. They had me email them all kinds of pictures and a copy of my proof.of purchase which I did, and havent heard since! Surely Best Buy can take this item back for a refund since it was only a few days over the return window. This is the first of many bad reviews in will be posting depending on the response of Best Buy in this matter, Please help! ref:_00Di0fiJD._5001Y1H23MR:ref
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When I try to connect BOTH speakers to Bluetooth on one device (phone) it has issues. What works is connecting one speaker to Bluetooth, then pushing the connect button on both speakers and VOILA! Perfect playback and it doesn't jump or race. Not the best app at all but that is the fix that worked for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a pair that does it as well. The speakers are about 50 feet apart, in the same room and the HK connect+ stays connected to each other for a day at the most. I have tried multiple devices, multiple updates and versions of Bluetooth firmware, etc. Still no dice. Harman Kardon support pretty much just says :it shouldn't happen" but offers no resolutions. I'm going to try and return them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It could be that more than one device is connected. Only one will operate thru Bluetooth at a time. Turn off or disconnect Bluetooth on the device you don't want to use at the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Jeff is right and he helped me figuring out the problem. I have multiple phones near the speaker and I noticed the speaker would disconnect every time the other phone received a notification (not the phone that was connected to the speaker). After I disabled the Bluetooth on all other phones, the disconnection stopped.
