A:AnswerAs someone who appreciates high resolution IPS displays for their non-PWM flickering panels I share the same thoughts, but unfortunately it seems they went the exact same route as the Spectre x360 13.3 does in only offering 1080p IPS or 4K OLED (3K in this case). Which to me seems unfair as this is made with 3:2 for productivity where now people who want a higher quality display will suffer from PWM flickering/possible burn in from having white images for extended periods of time, or have to choose a lower quality one where text won't appear as sharp since it's not 3K. Truly a blunder from HP here.
A:AnswerMy sense, having bought 2 Spectres (both the 2017-model *and* the late 2020 14 OLED 3:2) is that HP has steadily increased both its build quality and quality control. My only complaint with the 2017 Spectre was the underwhelming battery life. HP solved that problem, while also adding a taller display for productivity, a bundled pen that works very well with the touchscreen, and what I think is a gorgeous, convenient gem cut design with an angled rear USB-C port. Every item out of the box felt more premium 3 years later, except the leather sleeve. But most other 2-in-1s don't have a sleeve included, so it's all gravy. Intel Evo certification creates a fast and efficient experience. Feels more like starting a cell phone than a traditional WIndows machine.
A:AnswerHP claims up to 17 hours battery life but all manufacturers inflate their own estimates. With normal use you should get half of that (possibly more).
A:AnswerThis laptop will have TPM 2.0. And it can be used with Bitlocker. But you may need to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, which has Bitlocker. Here are more details: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-bitlocker-encryption-windows-10
A:AnswerYes, the stylus comes included in its own box with 2 extra tips. HP recommends it be fully charged before using which takes only a couple minutes. Pen worked immediately once changed with no software setup or pairing with the computer.
A:AnswerHi Javi, thank you for the question. The display on the HP Spectre x360 Convertible 14-ea0023dx is OLED (3K2K - 3000 x 2000). AMLOED offers vibrant colors and outstanding brightness. This leads to great contrast and improved color fidelity as well. Plus, the addition of a thin-film transistor (TFT) array means AMOLED is more responsive and can activate pixels individually and more quickly than similar technology.
A:AnswerI revise my prior answer. Outside of the box in which the laptop was packaged, but inside the larger box I found a plastic protective sleeve. Not sure why this one item was packaged separately from everything else which was inside the double box. This sleeve is made of padded plastic meant to look somewhat like leather and has a Velcro strip to keep it closed. In that sense, it is a bit of an upgrade from my 2016 Spextre X360 where the sleeve had one open end with no way to keep it closed other than how snugly the laptop fit in the sleeve.
A:AnswerYes, this laptop can be similarly configured on HP, but the pricing is much higher compared to the $400 off I got from BestBuy on OLED 1TB 13.5in Spectre x360 14. Long lead time on HP as well. The grey is wonderful. IMHO, poseidon blue is only going to be marginally nicer.
A:AnswerThank you for your question! The processor in this laptop operates at 2.8 GHz by default (base clock speed) but can run up to 4.7 GHz, depending on the workload, with Intel Turbo Boost Technology,
