yes put the unit where you have the strongest signal possible and it will rebroadcast from that point with a strong signal on your side. You will be setting it up as a repeater\extender in this case.

At your neighbors house to set it up then walk to your house and plug it in the nearest outlet to you neighbors house and you should see some improvement but they also make a little bit more powerful one also!!!
