Questionhow does a range extender work?i have my wireless router in my computer room at one end of my house and I want to extend my wi fi coverage to the other end to include a smart TV. how do I install a range extender? in an outlet in the new room or to the router I presently have? i'm reading about finding the perfect "spot". not being techie, I need some help please.

- Answer All you need to do is plug it in to an outlet half way between the router and devices you want to boost activate it and search for the either 2.4ext or 5.0ext and put your password in and your done

QuestionMy Verizon router wifi signal upstairs gets very weak on my computer (Windows 7) in the basement. Can I use this range extender, or any other similar product to boost the wifi signal strength in the basement? Thanks in advance for any help. GCH

- Answer You can; I would station it(the extender) mid router and basement (area) because if it can't get the routers signal the extender is useless and will lose connection intermittently. Hope this helps.

QuestionWe have a 900 sq foot house, and the internet reaches about 40 ft into our yard. Will this help get internet into a shed 75 feet from our router. We can get some internet in the yard but it’s weak.

- Answer We had the same message. We looked up the model # on YouTube and a 9 minute video popped up. If you follow it word for word you will get it working.

- Answer Yes. Netflix would not work on our 3rd floor until I got this extender. After that, it connected right away.

- Answer Yes, I use mine at hotels where I don't have access to the router either. You don'the need physical access, just connect to the Extender via wireless network (enter code for Extender to verify it's yours), then just connect to the router using your internet browser and it walks you right through the setup. Couldn't be easier. Hope this helps.

- Answer No, it's won't likely help with that unless your wifi signal is so degraded due to range that you need a boost.

- Answer As long as the Gateway modem is also a Wi-Fi Router, it should work. I have tried it with 3 different Wi-Fi Routers and it worked each time.

QuestionMy WiFi router is 5g. Will the extender give the option of connecting to 5g or 2g? Some of my older equipment only works on a 2.4g connection.

- Answer Yes it will, following the instructions, you first set it up for 2.4 then 5g. I'm assuming your router has both. Works great, My xfinity had a weak signal in garage, once I connected the range extender, I had max bars on the extender and was able to connect my Smart bulbs and Smart switches Hope this helps
