I also am not impressed. I bought a Ninja Foodi Brand, Pressure Cooker Sling PRECISELY because my expectation was that as a Branded item it would have consumer standards applied. On receipt, I ignored the strong chemical "new" smell (unlike other silicone products which had been odourless). Now iI see more fool I.... Purchased from Amazon, the item is labelled with a heat range and "silicone". BUT the packaging also had the P65 warning, which i was unaware of at purchase. So, Ninja reply implies that there is nothing to be concerned about, that the P65 is to cover all (their own) bases, in order to be compliant with California Law. That it is impossible test for all the 900 substances, so to comply with the law they put out the consumer warning ........whether or not it actually does, or may or even likely contains a substance from the prescribed List. They dont know and don't appear to care. Well for those for those who DO care - LIKE ME - that means automatic avoidance. Its too late to return and so it will be recycled. So money wasted but lesson learned. For automatically using the "California P65" in this way also shows me that contract products are unlikely to have ANY quality control procedures in the manufacturing process and ought to be AVOIDED outright until Companies like NINJA get the message. This strategy is outrageous!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello CosmicDustGal, We definitely understand your concerns. We would like you to know that we are required by law in the state of California to include the California Prop 65 Warning. We include the warning in abundance of caution and to comply with this California warning mandate. The mere presence of even one of over 900 chemicals requires this warning and since it is not feasible to test for every single chemical, we're including the label with our products. Please rest assured that all SharkNinja products are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
