Usually the hot is on the left and cold on the right
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most new model washers have color coded the water inlet connection on the back of the washer now. Usually, facing the back of the washer you will see the water inlet connections from left to right or top and bottom marked RED for HOT and BLUE for COLD, however, if the are not color coded then HOT should have an “H” stamped in the metal. If this is missing or is not stamped then HOT is always on the LEFT side if side to side or on the bottom if stacked up and down
