Really good, now please add hyper-fast scrolling
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Accurate and functional trackball mouse. Would be 5 stars the M575 had Logitech's hyper-fast scroll wheel. It also could use a couple more programmable buttons, but not a deal breaker for me. Sizing: I wear a size M men's glove (approx 7.5" from fingertip to wrist crease; approx 4.75" from tip of thumb to base of thenar crease). The M575 is too small for me to palm, as my fingers extend too far. This is ok. My fingers rest comfortably on the L/R buttons, and the head of my metacarpal bones rest comfortably along the curved surface of the M575. From this padded area down to the carpals I have no support. This position requires me to keep a straight wrist which promotes better alignment of my arm and wrist. I find that rotating the axis to point at roughly 11:00 is more comfortable than straight at 12:00. I also replaced the trackball with a Perixx because I could color match better with my office. It's the little things.

Posted .Hello, So glad to hear that you're, by and large, loving the ERGO M575 Wireless Trackball Mouse and enjoying using it despite not having hyper scrolling. If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest you download Logitech's Options software which lets you customize your M575's settings like certain buttons, point and scroll behavior, and will also give you on-screen notifications when the battery is running low. Here's a link for the download: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056450274-Download-Stub-ERGO-M575-Wireless-Trackball. Hope that you find this helpful and allows you to continue to enjoy you're mouse. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. - Richard from Logitech

Comfortable fit in my hand & no pain after long us
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 4th one to get because they work so well. I use it at work and home. Got this for my husband to use at work. The mouse can be anywhere and on any surface since the ball makes all the movement on the screen. Really helps to keep hands in a comfortable position while working or just playing on the computer.

Logitech Trackball for Life (this model only) !!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was recommended by the ergonomic specialist at work about 5 years ago to switch over to a trackball mouse. After trying a few different ones, this particular trackball mouse (well, the previous model) was the one that made all the difference. I reluctantly agreed to change. I am an analyst that deals with huge amounts of data and really didn’t want anything to slow me down. It’s safe to say I log more miles on my mouse than anything else in life . After a few days of getting used to, I was so pleasantly surprised that I never looked back. Not only did my wrist/arm/hand pain go away but I was much quicker. Not having to drag your whole arm around to move the mouse makes a big difference in so many ways. Needless to say, this purchase was my 4th or 5th Logitech trackball in this particular design. It was the first of this newer model which, of course, I was reluctant to switch to. This newer model seems just as comfortable as the old but the ball seems slightly tighter (best way I can describe it). This might actually be ideal for some but I am a creature of habit and I liked the looseness of the original. It wasn’t to the point that I have put this away and looked for the older model but just an observation. Given the choice, I had one or two of the older model die out on me over time so if this one lasts longer I’ll deal with the different resistance of the trackball. Either way, hands down, if you are looking for an ergonomic trackball or any mouse in general I 100% choose this one over all the rest.

Good trackball with glaring limitations
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I review all things Logitech because I love the quality; this trackball is no different. I haven’t used a Logitech trackball since a Kensington trackball in the late 90s / early 2000s and was excited to give today’s trackball a “spin” without the wires. The Good: Compact Comfortable Budget Friendly Easily cleaned Packaging - simple The Meh: Single computer pairing Logitech Options software Packaging - too simple? The Good: The packaging was super simple - a trackball wrapped in some thin cardboard with the most basic of instructions printed on the cardboard. A battery door on the bottom houses the replaceable battery and a unifying receiver. The software setup was easy, as most The ergonomics are great. My arm is at 90 degrees to my desk (sitting or standing) so I’m used to a pretty consistent height, but not moving the mouse was pretty amusing for the first few minutes. After a while, my thumb was tired; my thumb was jumping around like I was on a nerve - or like my quads after a hard spin bike session. After a week of trackballn’ - I was pretty content with how my thumb adapted, but it’s still no mouse. The footprint is small, but not tiny; the MX Master 2s is roughly the same size and shape but obviously needs room to move around. I like the somewhat familiar feeling of the MX Master 2s, but my thumb is elevated to use the trackball, vs resting at the side for the ‘show desktop’ push. As you can see in the attached photo, it’s much larger than the MX Anywhere 3 - so keep that in mind if you plan on throwing it in your bag to use outside of the office. It does have a remarkable resemblance to the G604 as you can see. It seems as if the trackball can be easily cleaned as it pops right out through a hole in the bottom that only my pinky could sneak into - barely. “Back in my day we had to scrape lint off rollers to make the ball roll around again.” Now, the “rollers,” are so pin-head tiny, that I can’t see anything accumulating on them to need regular cleaning - but the option is there. The Meh: Now that the good stuff is out of the way, here are some things that I wasn’t a big fan of, even with the seemingly budget status of the trackball. This trackball has single computer pairing, unlike MX line - that can accommodate upwards of 3 devices. With so many people working from home, the possibility of dual-using this device rises. Take me for example, I use one keyboard (Logitech MX Keys) and one mouse (MX Anywhere 3) for my work computer (Mac), home computer (Alienware) and tablet (Pixel Slate). Not being able to multi-use this trackball is a bummer. There is *no* MagSpeed wheel or wheel release for fast scrolling. While this is offset by a middle-wheel click and roll of the trackball for Windows and nothing for the Mac. Not having the ability to click to release the wheel to a 'free-spin scrolling blur’ makes me a sad panda and the usage of the wheel feels old and rubbery. I found that when using the Mac paired via Bluetooth LE, the M575 shows up in Logitech Options to be able to customize the buttons. When paired via the unifying receiver in Windows, the M575 was missing; when paired via Bluetooth LE in Windows, it was there. To me, this is strange as I’d expect the opposite if I were to have guessed which pairing mode wouldn’t show the 575. I found the configurable button at the front of the left click (default, it’s the forward button) to be too far forward for my hands, which are an XL glove size. The middle of my finger is where the two buttons meet, so pushing down pushes down both - either can be pushed first, depending on how the pressure is distributed. Do I recommend it? Sure? I guess it’d be for someone that may want to start using a trackball at half the price of the MX line. Again, the mega downside for me is the single-computer pairing, followed by the lack of a fast scroll with the middle button.

Posted .Hello nhtechie! I'm happy to hear that, overall, you're enjoying the M575 mouse! We do have a trackball mouse that pairs to up to two devices. This would be our MX Ergo mouse. As for the MagSpeed feedback, I will be passing this along! I really enjoy the MagSpeed scroll wheel on my MX Master 3 and I think it would be great on some of our trackball mice. Feel free to reach out to our support team here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 if you ever need any assistance or if something happens in the 1-year limited hardware warranty. Great mouse
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this mouse. It's perfect for limited desk space. It takes a bit to get the hang of it if you're not used to it. I had carpel tunnel, had surgery and this mouse helps a lot. I recommend this to anyone with carpel tunnel.

A great trackball
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use a trackball in addition to a vertical mouse and sometimes a Mac trackpad. Figure it helps to use a few different methods of input throughout the day to reduce RSI injury chances. I really like this trackball - it's comfortable. As with any trackball, it takes a bit of getting used to but I found myself using this for many hours a day, daily.

Great device.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had problems with carpal tunnel and my shoulder. Was told by my Chiropractor to get a trackball and reduce arm strain- this has worked amazingly well. I love how this and my Logitech mouse can both connect to the same USB dongle - my wife hates trackballs, so I keep my old mouse and she uses it with the computer when she needs to. It’s really comfortable and full featured for the general user.

Great trackball
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great trackball. My daily driver mouse. I've used the previous model M570 for about 10 years and loved it. Since it was discontinued with the M575 as the replacement I didn't think I'd like switching. But after a few days and getting over the feeling of a difference it is great. Going back to the M570 at all feels more cumbersome.

Great Mouse to Avoid Thumb or Wrist Issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mouse for people with wrist problems. My wife was having issues with a 3M Ergonomic Mouse. The rocker buttons on top were hard to operate (had to push the button all the way it could go to get it to operate) and it was hurting her thumb. We had used the ergo moouse for some time because of wrist problems my wife had. With this mouse, she does not have any wrist issues nor any thumb issues.

My favorite mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I switched to this type of mouse over 15 years ago, I never used anything else. I used to get really bad pain (carpel tunnel syndrome possibly) in my right wrist but after switching to this mouse I never felt that pain again. It did take a few days to get used to it but once I did it feels more awkward now to use a regular mouse.
