I like trackballs. I had previously had 4 other Logitech trackballs and Trackman's that were wired versions that had quit working on previous computers. I have had many Logitech products that quit working. I had another TB I had bought when I replaced another computer recently-it died within a month. Desperate for control I went to my local Best Buy to get anything to mouse the new computer. I broke down and bought this M575 hopefully it won't die like all the other Logitech items I have bought in the last 20 years. I had sworn never again but here I am with another Logitech item just hoping it has a long life at least till windows 12 or 13...Other than that it is slick and works well. wireless version of a couple of my wired version.Too soo to tell about value and Quality. Works well now
I understand that you’ve had some challenges with previous Logitech products. It’s great to hear that the ERGO M575 is working well for you. Logitech has made significant improvements in recent years, and it’s possible that their products are more reliable now. Hopefully, this trackball will provide you with many years of trouble-free use.

Really good remote. Helps if you have wrist issues since your only using your thumb and index finger and don’t need a pad to move around. Very versatile and has good battery life.it’s a little big of you use medium size gloves. It’s a little bulky but sturdy.
Thank you for your positive review of the Logitech - ERGO M575! We're glad to hear that it's a valuable tool in your daily workflow. We appreciate you choosing us and hope you continue to enjoy using it.

Accurate and functional trackball mouse. Would be 5 stars the M575 had Logitech's hyper-fast scroll wheel. It also could use a couple more programmable buttons, but not a deal breaker for me.
Sizing: I wear a size M men's glove (approx 7.5" from fingertip to wrist crease; approx 4.75" from tip of thumb to base of thenar crease).
The M575 is too small for me to palm, as my fingers extend too far. This is ok. My fingers rest comfortably on the L/R buttons, and the head of my metacarpal bones rest comfortably along the curved surface of the M575. From this padded area down to the carpals I have no support. This position requires me to keep a straight wrist which promotes better alignment of my arm and wrist. I find that rotating the axis to point at roughly 11:00 is more comfortable than straight at 12:00.
I also replaced the trackball with a Perixx because I could color match better with my office. It's the little things.
Hello, So glad to hear that you're, by and large, loving the ERGO M575 Wireless Trackball Mouse and enjoying using it despite not having hyper scrolling. If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest you download Logitech's Options software which lets you customize your M575's settings like certain buttons, point and scroll behavior, and will also give you on-screen notifications when the battery is running low. Here's a link for the download: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056450274-Download-Stub-ERGO-M575-Wireless-Trackball. Hope that you find this helpful and allows you to continue to enjoy you're mouse. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. - Richard from Logitech

I do animation and love using a lg c2 for for a lot of productive work. Using a ball mouse is perfect since you dont have to move youre mouse across your desk. Its very helpful when I personally have a drawing tablet right next to it and no room to move my hand. This mouse has worked flawlessly since i got it, and has a nice software thats super simple. Id recommend !

I have been buying these Logitech side ball mice at this price point or years, whenever one would start to act up (typically 1.5-2 years of heavy use) I would buy a replacement and this is the best version they have ever made. It is more comfortable than the previous version (which I considered inferior) less comfortable than it's predecessor) and the USB connector and Bluetooth dual functionality is fantastic for easily connecting to multiple devices. It has the same familiar Logitech unifying receiver and a single button on the bottom that functions to connect to Bluetooth (hold) and to switch between the receiver and Bluetooth (press twice). There is a light indicator that will flash white/blue to let you know which connection its using.
You can see the differences in size and shape between this version and the previous one and while they look similar, the way they feel in the hand is significant. The flatter and wider surface of the Ergo is much more comfortable and the forward and back button shape and placement makes it more difficult to hit them accidentally. The texturing on the top also provides a better grip and the ball is smoother to operate. I can't speak for its durability yet but in my experience these mice are very durable and this one feels both better put together and higher quality than previous models.

In need of a more ergonomic mouse? Do your wrist hurt after a long day of scrolling the net? Then this may be for you!
Absolutely! The Logitech ERGO M575 is an ergonomic mouse designed to reduce wrist strain with its sculpted shape, thumb-controlled trackball, and reduced arm movement.
A:turn it over, tale a pen or pencil, push the ball out, and clean the inside. then simply pop the ball back in. I do this every so often. you get lint or dust build up over the little pins.
A:The extra value is the addition of Bluetooth connectivity. The M575 provides Bluetooth for devices that do not have a USB port in addition to the usb receiver for those devices that do not have Bluetooth.
A:Hello, I am sorry to hear about the double click issues you are experiencing. It does come with a 3 year warranty through Logitech so if it is that time span you may file a warranty claim. Here is the link for that: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025078553-Warranty-Wireless-Trackball-M570. If it is outside that window, you may contact our support team and see if they can help further through that same link. I hope that helps!

A:Hey there JayK. The M575 has an extremely similar size and shape to the M570, but tweaked slightly for more ergonomics and ease of use. Personally my wife used both and barely noticed a difference between the two. -Weston from Logitech
A:Hello Tardis, The ERGO M575 Wireless Trackball Mouse should work with macOS 10.15 or later. If you are a Mac user, starting with macOS Mojave (10.14), Apple has a new policy that requires user permissions for our Options software. Here is a link to the Logitech permission prompts for macOS Big Sur: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023203954. - Richard from Logitech
