Clearly Best Buy didnt do quality check of this device. All of its crevices are packed full of dust (see photo). Doesnt work either! Now I've gotta go out of my way and return it physically or having return postage deducted. Not my fault they got ripped off by the original person who returned it. Very disappointed.

I had purchased this mouse before and it feels and works great for the price. The first lasted about a year, maybe 1.5. The new one I purchased was defective! The slot for the usb would cause the usb to get stuck and the battery light on the top of the mouse doesn’t work at all. Aside from that, it still works, but I’ll be returning and investing a bit more.

does what it is supposed to. a little problem with right bottom, sometimes dosen`t work. very good for the price.

Well came into best buy to get a wireless mouse got a logic. Got home. An it would not work. Took it back the next day. Got a microsoft mouse. Man it is great. No problems worked right away. Love. No problems in returning the old mouse. Thanks best buy.

I bought this wireless mouse three months ago and it stopped working. First I though it was a battery problem, but after three battery changes (lasting one day at the most), today it stopped working at all. And Best Buy informs that my return period is over....This product is clearly defective!!!!

The mouse arrived defective. the battery cover doesn't close completely. I will be returning it.

This item stopped working within a few hours after purchase. I expected better from a Microsoft product. Returned item for a different brand.

bought 6 of these 2 of them didnt not work out of packaging or shortly after.

This mouse eats a battery every day, and has every since we started using it. We didn't setup our new laptop for several weeks and the store return period was expired. Never dreamed a mouse would have a problem. Now trying to get a hold of Microsoft to help resolve this. Added our old wireless mouse to the new laptop and it has worked just fine every since. This mouse obviously is a lemon so hoping we will get help from microsoft. Learned our lesson. Always setup new products right away to be sure they work within the return period.

Mouse works perfectly, but it's a real pain that I need to replace the battery so often. I'm only using it for work and need to replace around once a month. It's a pain to have it die unexpectedly when you are in the middle of work and have to hunt down a new battery. I've disposed of it and moved on to something new. It isn't defective, as there are other older reviews online with the same problem. Not what I expected for a Microsoft product at all.

i purchased this mouse because i bought a 1500.00 ;laptop that same day. i used it twice and it broke. I AM EXTREMELY UNHAPPY. I THREW OUT THE BOX THIS MOUSE CAME IN SO I ASSUMED THAT ITS NOW NOT RETURNABLE CAUSE I THREW OUT THE BOX.

What can possibly go wrong with a wireless mouse? How about it simply does not work! Jerky…erratic…impossible to use! I tried all recommended fixes and nothing changes. I should have stuck with Logitech.

This mouse has so much stutter. Using it right next to a macbook pro or two feet from a pc it jumps around the screen or freezes. I'm going to return it and see if I got a dud, but right now I'm not impressed.

This was my second mouse and they both had the exact same issue-jumpy mouse curses. I got fed up and exchanged this one for an insignia and I love the new one!

We happened to get a mouse which was a lemon. Sorry Microsoft but we had to return this item.
