Q: QuestionHow does this compare and any great differences between that this and deco W 7200?(2 answers)
A: AnswerHi! The primary differences between this model (Deco X60 / AX3000) and the Deco W7200 is that the latter is a Tri-Band Mesh system. Tri-band mesh technology allows for a separate, dedicated 5GHz backhaul band to communicate between the Deco units, instead of sharing the same band with your devices to communicate between nodes. The other key difference is the Deco X60 utilizes the HomeCare network protection and management suite, while the Deco W7200 utilizes the HomeShield suite. For more information about HomeCare and HomeShield, please see our website below: HomeCare: https://www.tp-link.com/us/homecare/ HomeShield: https://www.tp-link.com/us/homeshield/ Lastly - another difference may be how much Wi-Fi coverage the mesh systems offer based on how many Deco units are in the particular kits you are looking at. For example, a Deco W7200 2-Pack variant covers up to 5,500 square feet, while a Deco X60 3-Pack variant covers up to 7,000 square feet. We hope this helps!Answered by TPLinkSupport
- A: AnswerYes! This Deco Mesh system supports both Ethernet and Wi-Fi backhaul options.

- A: AnswerMy last system went down about 7-10 times a week (Cox). But since I have had the Deco system I have completely forgotten about the system dropping out. I believe this is called self healing - which this system seams to be doing. I can't say enough good about it. Just install and forget it. Hope this helps you decide. TWW

- A: AnswerHi! Yes, as long as your router and modem are separate devices (as opposed to an all-in-one modem/router gateway), you can replace your existing router using this Deco Mesh system.
Answered by TPLinkSupport
- A: AnswerAbsolutely! All of our Deco models are compatible with each other and can be conveniently expanded using the Deco app.

Great mesh Wi-Fi
I've been using the TP-Link X60 three-pack for a while now, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance. The setup was incredibly simple, thanks to the Deco app. It guided me through the process seamlessly, and I had everything up and running in no time. One of the best features of this system is its impressive range. The three-pack configuration works great for covering my entire townhouse, including getting a solid signal upstairs using the wireless backhaul. This has been a game-changer for maintaining connectivity in all areas of my home. I primarily use the three-pack to establish a wireless-wired connection to both my roommate's PC and mine, as our router is downstairs and there are no coax or Ethernet jacks elsewhere. This has solved our connectivity issues, and the performance has been reliable. However, I did notice that while the wireless speeds are good, they don’t quite reach the full speeds offered by my ISP, even through just one floor. This isn't a dealbreaker for me, as the speeds are still sufficient for my everyday use, but it's something to be aware of if you're expecting to hit those maximum speeds. Overall, I would recommend the TP-Link X60 for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-set-up mesh network with great coverage.

Easy setup and nearly perfect connection.
For years and years we had always been dealing with all sorts of network issues throughout our home which consists of 4 bedrooms and a guest house. Setting up this mesh system could have not been easier, you only have to create an a Deco account and everything is such a breeze. There are tons of settings that you can play around with; from bandwidth limits to scheduling internet hours, you can do all sorts of things right from the app. Now the important part, when it comes to speed these things work flawlessly, I set these pods strategically across the property and our downloads are almost identical to being directly plugged through ethernet to our main router. I cannot recommend these pods enough if you have been struggling with connection across your property. Ps. I have attached a picture of our download speeds at the guest house which is 40 ft away from the main router.

Goodbye Google Mesh
Initially I had the Google Mesh system and I thought I was doing well getting 230 Mbps. But I notice that my cell phone that was connected directly to the home wifi was getting 360 Mbps... Then it hit me... Maybe my Google system was crap. So I went out and bought this system and setup was sooooo easy took 4 mins and the speed was nearly triple going from 230 Mbps to over 630 Mbps consistently. The dip you see in the photo after the spike was me testing Hardwire vs wifi. Hardwire won by a long shot. Also I bought a best buy Cat6 cable thinking it would speed up my speed even more, but after testing turns out the ethernet cable that comes with the TP-Link delivers faster speeds consistently over the generic Best buy cable. I highly recommend.
