I had to convince the installer to shorten the hose and install it directly so it was straight on with no twists. Since then, 6 months, no “vent blocked” codes and all runs beautifully, fully dried loads.

- A: AnswerIt did not come with mine. There were 3 additional hoses, vents, etc. that were required. Good thing about Best Buy is they automatically add it to your cart so you have exactly what you need so you don’t buy the wrong hookups. The 3 additional hose, etc. cost approx. $100. This is the steam hookup. Smart Choice - Steam Dryer Installation Kit - Stainless steel Model:5304495002 SKU:3762114 But again, if you add the dryer to your cart you should see the additional parts added so there is no guess work! Hope this helps!

Our Newest Edition!!! LG Steam Dryer!!!
First off let me say…”I am a Heavy Washer”!!!! We are a large family of 7 (2 adults & 5 teenagers)!!! So I am washing constantly (at least 10 loads a day). We purchased this set to replace an older model of the same LG set because of wear & tear after some years of heavy use on the washer. However, we prefer a matching set, so decided to get both! We received our new washing machine first. Our steam dryer came about 2 weeks later. Because of that I had already gotten familiar with the ThinQ app!!! I love it!!! No more guess work on when the load will be finished!!! It’s also perfectly paired together for the settings of how long to dry, after the washing cycle stops!!! Also, it’s very easy to download a more custom cycle (you can choose from lots of options in the app)!!! The dryer is pretty quite while it does it thing too!!! However, I will say if this is your first steam dryer you should know that you will need an additional hose to connect to the water hook ups. It’s called a Steam Dryer Installation Kit! You can purchase it@ the store whenever you buy your dryer. I hope this helps you while your making your decision to purchase or not to!!! Enjoy!!!!

Highly recommend this dryer!!
We selected the dryer based off Consumer Reports suggestion for reliability. Absolutely love this dryer. It's too quiet. Not a bad thing, just difficult to tell when it is finished. The settings are tricky due to the Steam function but, easy enough to figure out quickly. The best feature is the Antibacterial and Steam Sanitary settings. Takes half the time our last dryer did for the same size loads. I can also fit our super king comforter inside this model. Great buy that I highly recommend.

A Smart Choice for Laundry
This dryer really catches your eye. Its cool design fits great in my laundry space, and the built-in smarts make things even easier. The steam feature is awesome for keeping clothes smooth. It can handle big loads effortlessly because it's got plenty of space. If you want a good mix of style and smart features in a dryer, this one's a solid choice. Definitely recommend buying it!
