Pretty Decent

Compared to all the rest, this Philips monitor is pretty good, esp considering the affordable price.
The overall quality is better than average. I don't like the design/appearance of the back of the monitor with the silver and dark black color, but it's pretty nice from the front.
Monitor is sturdy and stable, with no wobbling - that's incredibly important to me. However, monitor is on the heavier side, which I personally liked as it doesn't feel cheap like the more expensive but lighter ones.
Really easy to set up and assemble. Usb -C is great; it charges my 2018 macbook pro 15 inch just fine.
I used this strictly for work purposes as intended (i.e. spreadsheets, MS office suite, web browsing, etc)
If i planned better, i would have gotten two of these at the same time considering the decent price. Of course, I am an idiot and I returned it after almost a month for the dumbest reason i.e. it wasn't aesthetically complementing my other monitor - hence my previous comment about how i wished i had gotten two of these at the same time.
I recommend this product.
Good luck

Best Budget 4k USB-C Monitor

After a lot of research and thoroughly using this monitor for programming, photo/video editing, and gaming, I've found this monitor to be the absolute best 4k USB-C monitor under $400. Even a lot of similar monitors in the $600-$700 didn't have any additional benefits. The only downside to this monitor is that you cannot daisy chain monitors together, but you wan't find a comparable monitor that does that until you get into the $700 range. So if you want to run multiple monitors, you'll have to plug them directly into your computer. That being said, since each monitor is a hub, I don't have to plug anything else into my 16" MacBook Pro except my power cord. This monitor also comes with a USB-C cable and 2 HDMI cables. Very versatile stand, best color gamut, best picture clarity for an anti-glare screen, best viewing angles, horizontal and vertical rotation. This is simply the best 4k USB-C monitor out there for the price. The next step up in terms of specs is the 24" LG Ultrafine Display.

This is the second Phillips monitor I have purchased and this one continues to please me with a bright image, good placement of the controls, and great features for its price class. One feature I do not need but would be great for some people is the USB hub with ethernet connectivity built into the monitor. This could be very useful for a laptop setup.

Display quality is excellent. Obviously its not a high refresh rate monitor. But never had any flickering so far. So, good value for the price
Only quirk-Inbuilt docking capability does not work very well for a 2 monitor set up

I've been using this Philips 4K 27" monitor for over a month ago. I am extremely impressed with this monitor in every way. Very sharp image and picture quality with good colors and brightness. Very thin bezels except for the bottom portion. The stand is made extremely well and very sturdy unlike other models I've seen. I like the fact this 4K monitor has an IPS display so I can view the screen from extreme angles. I have my Asus Zenbook 15.6" 4K resolution laptop connected to this Philips 4K monitor for excellent viewing quality. From my research, I have found that the $365 price tag for this Philips 4K monitor is a very good price, especially because other similar monitors from Dell costs noticeably more. The only potential negative thing about this monitor is that I can't figure out how to connect this monitor to another monitor. I'm guessing this is not possible. I've read the specs on some Dell monitors that it's possible to "daisy-chain" multiple monitors, but I don't think it's possible with this Philips monitor. I'm not going to downgrade any stars from this Philips monitor since it was never advertised as having that daisy-chain feature. I give this 5 stars for quality and price.

Big beautiful screen. Handy docking station.
As an aside, I use it to extend my MacBook Air, and it does not scale to match the highest resolution of the laptop. That’s due to Apple’s decision not to make any of their current laptops at 4k resolution because that would reduce battery performance.
But otherwise I recommend it 100%!

The unit is heavy. I wasn't able to get it past 30hz 4k, in any setting, using USB-C. The directions were difficult to understand. The UI for settings wasn't intuitive either. I went back to LG.
The monitor is very clear and crisp, however. The power saver function is neat in that it uses IR to sense your presence, but it would be better to just pick up a full LED.

Wrong color gamut claims

The product descriptions lists 122% sRGB coverage and 103% NTSC coverage. These claims are wrong. Measured with a colorimeter, it's more like ~96% sRGB and 74% NTSC. Misleading claims by Philips. The only upside is the included stand and USB-C features (with caveats around USB3.2 and 4k/60Hz operation)
A:I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the 272B7QPTKEB is a different Philips monitor that is not sold in the United States. It is similar in design to this one but has a lower resolution (Quad HD instead of 4k) and some additional features including a pop-up webcam, which is not included with this monitor.
