Q: Does clock display. stay on without using remote
A: Yes it does . And it has a dimmer if it is to bright for yoy that you can ajust.

Q: Does it show inside or outside temperature.
A: It shows the INSIDE temperature, it would need to come with an outside sensor to show the temperature outside.
A: The Temperature display is for the INSIDE measurement, is that correct for where you have the clock placed ? Move the clock to a different area to see if the temperature changes..? If it really is stuck on 46*, then I would see about an exchange for a new clock at BB. I just read through the Booklet and it only gives info on how to change between C & F settings. It doesn’t show any place on the clock for a Reset button nor did I find one on the clock itself.
