I work as a facility manager at a high school, so I am used to lifting heavy equipment and installing a TV, but getting this 85-inch TV set up in my home was definitely a two-person job. The metal feet feel sturdy enough and have a nice spot in the back to tuck the wires away, which keeps the install looking clean. Once we turned it on, the first thing my girlfriend and I noticed was the brightness. It gets incredibly bright, making colors look vibrant and punchy. While the blacks are deep, I did notice some light blooming around subtitles in dark movie scenes. The sound is surprisingly good enough, and I haven't hooked up a soundbar yet because the built-in subwoofer has decent bass. I really like that all four inputs on the back are high-speed HDMI 2.1 ports. I have 2 gaming consoles, and this makes switching between them easy, without moving cords around to get the benefits of HDMI 2.1. The remote lights up, which is handy at night. I got it during Black Friday; the value is hard to beat for a screen this size at that price. I took off a star because the screen handles reflections poorly if a lamp is on, and fast motion can look a bit blurry.

The Hisense 85U75QG is a great gaming TV for anyone who wants a huge screen paired with bright HDR+, vibrant color, and console support. Setup was a breeze. With the QR code setup with the Google TV account connected to your google account it logged you into most things and sets up Google TV instantly. Dolby Atmos and the 2.1.2 multi-channel surround sound it immerses you in sound like a movie theater but at home or on set of a film! My brother thought I had a soundbar connected to the TV. The native refresh rate panel up to 165 Hz has changed my gaming, with The AMD Freesync Premium Pro and Low latency mode, it makes sure I am never late and I don't miss anything or movement in the shot. AI Upscaling has been amazing with connecting it to my gaming console, the fast paced fighting scenes and with clarity even while in motion, I can see every since detail of the action. It delivers a sweeping cinematic gaming experience with every HDR option, including Dolby Vision IQ, HDR 10+Adaptive, HDR 10, HLG and Advanced HDR by Technicolor. My favorite feature is the AI Chroma Light Sensor because of the auto brightness and color temperature adjustment, it's best in any light, from bright overhead lights to sunshine, it is always a peak performance. If you want a big, bright, colorful, immersive display for console gaming, this tv is absolutely a top choice and one of the best values. Easily the best thing I bought for my new house.

Upgraded to this Hisense Mini-LED TV recently from an older LED model and the picture improvement is immediately noticeable. The local dimming creates really deep blacks and bright highlights that make HDR content pop, especially during movie scenes with dramatic lighting. The 165Hz gaming performance is smooth and I haven’t experienced any noticeable input lag when playing fast-paced games on my console. The anti-reflection coating works well in my living room which gets afternoon sun - much better than my previous TV that became almost unwatchable during certain times of day. The QLED colors are vibrant without looking oversaturated, and the AI upscaling does seem to improve lower resolution content though it’s not magic. However, the backlit voice remote has been somewhat disappointing - the voice recognition works inconsistently and sometimes doesn’t respond to button presses on the first try. The Google TV interface is clean and easy to navigate, though it can be a bit slow to load apps occasionally. The Dolby Atmos audio from the built-in speakers is surprisingly good for TV speakers, though I still prefer my soundbar for serious movie watching. The WiFi 6E connectivity has been rock solid for streaming 4K content without buffering. The four HDMI 2.1 ports are great for connecting multiple gaming devices without having to swap cables. The AI features mostly stay out of the way and seem to adjust picture settings appropriately for different content types. For the price point it’s a solid TV with excellent picture quality, just be prepared for some minor software quirks and remote responsiveness issues.
