It is designed to remove detergent residue, excess water, and other impurities from your clothes. It uses fresh water to flush away any lingering residue that might irritate your skin or leave your clothes stiff. The rinse cycle is often combined with a spin cycle, which removes excess water from your clothes by spinning them rapidly in a drum. This helps to speed up the drying process and prevent your clothes from being overly damp...^Ivan.

Q: Is there a soaking option ?
A: There is NOT a soaking option. I’ve had to try different things with pausing the machine to be able to soak. Regardless of what the LG customer service person said, there is NO SOAK OPTION on this model. If I had known that, I probably wouldn’t have bought it. And you cannot download a soak optio.
A: We have a lab and a Boston Terrier/Pug mix and this washer and dryer combination does and extremely good job of removing all of the hair in our household.
A: Yes. I believe you can also order it with an agitator or the other mode.
A: It only uses enough water required to wash a specific size load. I suggest reading the manual.
