    Don’t Believe What You Read…

Despite other reviews on here, this game is amazing! The characters, aesthetic, and world are uniquely designed and gorgeous. The story is fun to follow and has all the crazy twists and turns you’d expect from the creators of Danganronpa. Couldn’t have asked for more. While the game does appear fuzzy in handheld, the performance itself doesn’t suffer, and the game looks perfect docked. If you liked Danganronpa, buy this now. Or when it’s back in stock.

Wonderful story and fun to play

I ordered the game online and it arrived the next day in mint condition. That being said the game has an interesting story and is all around really fun to play. It's lot like Danganronpa if you're familiar with the series.

Fun Detective Game for the Switch

I was looking for a fun mystery game for the Nintendo switch and was recommended this game, which I'll abbreviate to MDARC, by a friend. I've played another game created by the core staff on this game, called Danganronpa, and really liked it so I thought I'd give it another shot. It has some visual novel elements and MDARC carries over many similar character tropes from Danganronpa, especially the main character. But I loved Danganronpa, so this was a plus for me. The storytelling is well-paced and engaging. Most of all, the mystery of each case didn't feel like I was just along for the ride. I had to find clues and figure out how everything fit together. I did not just want another point and click mystery, so this was great. Some of the elements of the Mystery Labyrinths were a bit strange and not my favorite elements, but that's a small critique as they're fairly easy to get past. Overall, MDARC is a fun, solid game and a great follow-up to Danganronpa. The games are not related in a story-sense, but if you like one you'll like the other.

    Granddaughter's Review

Review from my Granddaughter - With Raincode. It reminds me a lot of past titles such as Danganronpa, Zero Escape and Ai The Somnium Files in some way or form. The gamyplay is smooth and the mysteries are great, they have serious moments and they have funny moments at the same time with a lot of creative twists and mini games to solve it with. My only really complaint is that I play this game in English and I don't know if the Japanese dub has this but majority of the time when a character talks their mouth wouldn't move on time or stay shut until after they are done speaking. The characters are also a nice touch to the game with all of their different personalities and takes on different things, it's fun having then around as you're in the mystery labyrinth and is a reason why this game is funny.

Blew my expectations out of the water

First, if you like Dangonronpa, Phoenix Wright, or even visual novels like Doki Doki Literature Club this game is a must buy for you! I was expecting something like Phoenix Wright or Dangonronpa going in but this game feels like such a step forward from those games. Fully fleshed out 3D worlds, most lines are voice acted. Its fun its different its a visual treat. Although somewhat limited by the switch. It can get really weird but thats what i like about it. This game is not for kids so beware of that. Id say 16 and over. Must buy!
