I have used the kindle scribe, rm2, boox note air 2, and now the rmpp. For me, the rmpp is the best device followed by the rm2, then scribe, then note air 2. the new pen on the rmpp is the best experience of them all. the latency is not noticeable. it was slightly on the rm2. also, it feels like writing with a sharp pencil whereas the rm2 felt like a dull or soft pencil and the other two felt like a very slippery pen on paper laying on a hard surface rather than additional paper underneath like in a notebook. The color is great for visual highlights though it isn't completely profound for artistic purposes. The backlight is also nice and something i really wish the rm2 had. many reviewers indicate the rmpp isn't worth the price but I disagree. the scribe is NOT a notetaking device. the note air is too clunky but does offer integrations. the rm2 is also very good but i prefer the feel of the rmpp as well as the backlight and integration of color. the new processer and additional ram are also noticeable. I do wish getting epub books was easier as rmpp doesn't work with drm books from amazon or kindle.

I’ve been using the reMarkable Paper Tablet Pro for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The ease of use is outstanding—it feels incredibly intuitive right out of the box. Writing on it feels natural, almost like pen on paper, but with all the benefits of digital organization. The clarity of the text is excellent, both while writing and when reviewing notes later. Everything looks crisp and readable, whether I’m jotting down ideas, taking meeting notes, or marking up PDFs. I upgraded from the reMarkable 2, and I love this model even more. The addition of color and the ability to highlight in different shades has made a huge difference in how I organize and visually separate my notes. It’s a small change that makes a big impact. Plus, one of the best features is how it keeps all my notes in one place. No more scattered notebooks or loose papers—I can easily organize everything into folders and access them anytime. The syncing functionality has been seamless; my notes sync automatically to both the desktop app and my iPhone app without any hassle. It’s been a game-changer for staying organized across all my devices. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants the simplicity of writing by hand with the power of digital storage and accessibility!

Before switching to a reMarkable tablet, I was using the 2022 iPad Pro, which I genuinely enjoyed. However, I often found myself getting distracted by apps and notifications. After seeing a close friend use a reMarkable, I decided to make the switch—and I absolutely do not regret it. The battery life is incredible, easily lasting an entire week on a single charge. The paper-like screen feel is truly unique and far superior to the paper-like screen protector I had on my iPad. The reMarkable delivers that tactile, focused writing experience right out of the box with no need for add-ons. The reMarkable app is another highlight—it’s intuitive, well-designed, and clearly developed with care. You can tell the creators really understand what users are looking for in a distraction-free productivity device. If you’re considering making the switch and don’t have any major limitations holding you back, I highly recommend it. It’s been a game-changer for my focus and workflow
