A: Ours is very quiet
A: Hopefully this picture will answer your question.
A: Thanks so much for asking, jin4friends! While this model does have a timed cook feature for the oven compartment, the cooktop does not, and will need to be turned off manually. ^Jecca
A: Hi TJohns, This is very interesting. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We appreciate that you raised this question regarding the range. Q: Does the top scratch and/or crack easily? How can these things be prevented?
A: Great question, sunnie1ee! Any glass or ceramic cooktop will be susceptible to scratches, but there are easy ways to prevent this. The most important thing to consider for this is the cookware used. This link (https://bit.ly/3xc4rfp) has everything you need to know about different types of cookware and how likely they are to scratch the surface. It is also important to note that this model is an induction model. This means that it will require cookware that is magnetic (magnets will stick to the bottom). ^Jecca
Q: what is the depth of this product without the handle?
A: 27 inches deep including burner knobs.
A: Hi there, Yes, it is not designed to be removable. To check the availability and compatibility of a knob replacement, you can contact Samsung's official parts distributor for customers purchasing Samsung parts or accessories. Orders can be placed online at www.samsungparts.com or by phone at 800-627-4368; hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST, Monday – Friday. After using this Samsung induction range for a while, I can honestly say it feels like a major upgrade from a traditional electric or gas stove. The first thing you notice is how fast the induction cooktop heats up. Water boils in a couple of minutes, and the heat control is extremely precise. It makes cooking feel more responsive, almost like using gas but with the cleanliness and efficiency of electric. The design is also a big win. The slide-in style gives it a built-in look, and the stainless finish looks sharp without constantly showing fingerprints. The glass cooktop wipes clean easily since spills don’t burn onto the surface the way they often do on traditional ranges. The oven itself is huge at 6.3 cubic feet, so it easily handles multiple dishes or large roasting pans. The convection feature cooks evenly, and the built-in Air Fry mode is a nice bonus for things like fries or wings without needing a separate countertop appliance. One thing to be aware of is that induction requires compatible cookware. Some of my older pots and pans didn’t work, so I had to replace a few pieces. Once you have the right cookware, though, the cooking experience is fantastic. Another minor downside is the air fry function isn’t quite as powerful as a dedicated air fryer, so sometimes foods take a bit longer. The smart features are surprisingly useful too. Connecting it to Wi-Fi lets you monitor or control the oven from your phone through the SmartThings app, which is handy if you’re preheating while doing other things around the house. Overall, this range feels modern, fast, and efficient. If you’re considering switching to induction and want something that looks great and performs well, this Samsung model is definitely worth it.

Absolutely loving the upgrade to this Induction range (from an old gas oven). After purchasing induction-ready stainless steel cookware, the process of cooking couldn't be more enjoyable, except it took a bit of time adjusting to the particulars of stainless steel cookware. Pros -- 1) Boiling water every day for tea/coffee only takes ~2mins. 2) no more hot-spots when cooking using full-clad stainless cookware. 3) Easy easy easy Clean-up, just wipe. No more having to scrub up and under the gas grill and burning elements. 4) So much more efficient (~90% vs ~40% w/ gas). 5) Safer. Even if you accidentally turn on a HOB, nothing gets hot unless there's an induction compatible cookware sitting on top. 6) So much cooler. Even after boiling water, pretty much right after you lift away the hot kettle, the surface of the cooktop is almost cool enough to the touch. This mean in the heat of summer, the kitchen will stay so much cooler. 7) The convection oven/air-fry feature also works great! 8) At the time of purchase, Samsung was offering free 2nd year Warranty and a 5pc Circulon Induction Cookware. 9) No more worrying about breathing gas fumes. The only Cons that I can think of so far is that a gas range is better suited to heat/cook Asian style woks. Also, the electricity bill will be slightly more expensive. Just hoping that the range will last for years and years to come!
