Q: Is this a transmitter or receiver?!? The title says receiver and the description says transmitter!
A: The device can be switched into either mode by a small switch on the side. It’s the only device like this I’ve seen that does either. - so you can connect to your Bluetooth headphones during an in-flight movie.. or connect it the other direction by connecting to your cell phone and sending sound to whatever input device you want like home stereo, car radio etc.. it’s Bluetooth in either direction. Super cool device.
Q: Has anyone used it with "Airpods Prods" on the Airplane? Please share if it worked well or not.

A: There is a button that allows you to switch between transmit or receive. If your AUX jack can receive it will work. If you AUX jack is only for output, like headphones, it won't.
A: I have done just that - use it with Bose QC45 and Bose earbuds Haven’t tried my Apple airpods as not nearly as comfortable as the Bose
