What can I say. It is black ink, it doesn't smear, and installation is idiot-proof. Importantly, Best Buy stocks it.

The product is good, judging by the standard toner. Unfortunately, I couldn't really test this product since my disposable printer decided not to print anymore. You know, one of those printers made so you spend more money by not printing in B&W because you also need to replace the blue ink, which I also bought and still nothing. Anyways I'm reviewing the toner not the printer.

I never have issues with installation of Epson ink. I just think it's horribly overpriced! It definitely does not last for 500 pages. Evidently that figure is only based on using ink on 5% of a page! Wish the figures given by manufacturers were more real world, such as full pages.

The quality of the ink is superb. The prints come out extremely legible. The Epson - 220 XL High Yield Ink Cartridge is smudge and fade proof.
