Q: Why is this model not ADA compliant? (1 answers)
A: Hi there, We'll be happy to provide some information. We'll share the qualifications for laundry appliances to be considered ADA compliant. These models feature controls that are positioned within arm’s reach (between 15 and 48 inches above floor) and are designed for easy, one-hand operation. The front-load configuration allows easy loading and unloading from a wheelchair. If you have any other questions, let us know. Best wishes! Mike@GEAQ: Does this dryer have inside light? (1 answers)
A: Hey there, and thanks for your interest in this gas dryer! We are glad to advise there is indeed an LED drum light. The drum light will be on when the door is open, or if the Damp Alert or Sound button (depending on the model) is pressed for 3 seconds. It will turn off if the door is left open for 5 minutes or you press the same button you used to turn it on for 3 seconds again. We are confident this model would be a great fit for you, and are happy to help if you have any other questions. Wishing you all the best! -Sarah@GEAQ: Does this require a 20 or 30 amp breaker? - A: Yes the dryer needs a water connection to the cold water line. We replaced an existing steam dryer so all of the connections were already in place. I believe everything you need to make the connections are included with the dryer.
- A: Hello Nursecathy, thank you for your question! There is not an option to have the dryer continue to produce warm air to keep the laundry warm. We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. You can reach out to us further at the “Contact Us” link on our website. – CV
