Failure in touchscreen and in the touchpad

The laptop is by no means cheap so I'm expecting a top quality.
I contacted customer service because the touchscreen was not working and they told me to try and reset it. I'm certain that the issue is not in the software. It's a hardware malfunction.
Not only that but now the touchpad is not working. It is not clicking, the touch is okay but when I try to click it doesn't physically click, another hardware issue!
I take good care of my electronic devices and I never had something similar with much cheaper laptops!
It's really a disappointing experience and I will never repeat the same mistake and buy something from Razer as they don't even offer customer support once the product is out of warranty!
I'm attaching a photo of the touchpad when I'm pressing hard on it. As can be seen, it doesn't really go down.

Pretty computer but one year in its malfunctioning.
Interesting enough y it went bad just as the warranty expired. To make this worst it’s the send time this happens with best but computers.

Best laptop I've ever had

Replaced my Dell XPS 9500 with this. The Dell was awful from day one, but that's another story. This laptop is incredible. For how sleek the design is, and how much power they we're able to pack into it. Truly incredible, and highly recommended. Best. Laptop. Ever. Owned.

Giving it only 4 stars. So far this thing has been a beast of a laptop. My only complaint is that every so often the laptop crashes and restarts. Not sure if it’s a software thing. But in terms of specs, graphics are great and since I moved away for school, having an OLED screen is really great since I had an LG OLED C9 TV back home. Charger is a bit heavy and EXPENSIVE. For a gaming laptop, the weight is pretty light.

Beastly performance on this thin laptop, and the screen is GORGEOUS. Unfortunately performance is not everything. Most significantly, I've been getting generic blue screen crashes claiming "A fatal hardware error has occurred." I'm hoping a driver update takes care of this as the hardware is very new. Additionally, when used with the Razer thunderbolt dock, I'm not able to use my high refresh monitor above 60 hz (Works with a Macbook Pro just fine). Finally, battery life using the iGPU is at max 5 hours, more likely around 4. This is ok, but I would have liked better.
Overall, this is a striking, powerful laptop, but too many issues mar the picture.

Underpowered and not supported

I have never hated a laptop the way I hated this one. Form factor is pretty standard. But the cooling is terrible and that’s with both cpu and gpu being near the lowest edge of their possible tdp (to the point you can’t undervolt the cpu and instead have to limit the turbo boost to prevent thermal throttling). Did I mention that the low tdp makes the laptop less powerful then something comparable one with similar specs by that allows for full tdp by a whopping 20%? Yeah, it basically makes the 3080 a 2060.
Razer also claimed this model can update to windows 11. That it was tested by them as being able to update. They lied. You can’t update to windows 11 on this model because of a driver issue with the microphone that requires Razer to produce a OEM driver that fixes the issue. They have yet to release this needed driver and don’t give an ETA on when it will be fixed. So if you want Windows 11, you have to disable and uninstall your microphone driver which will disable the microphone. Every other major gaming laptop manufacturer has resolved this issue and their laptops can upgrade.
2 stars because the screen is a great, but only 60hrz.
I returned it for a laptop that actually does get supported by its company.

A Monster of a Laptop

If you are looking for the best performance money can buy, this is it.
Some positives:
Battery: I get about 7 hours when I'm just using it for Office, email, Internet, and watching videos. I always have it plugged in for gaming so I can't comment on that.
Speed: The best performance by far.
Temperature: When using it for standard work, if maintains a cool temperature of around 45C even when sitting directly on a desk. When gaming, in order to maintain a cool temperature, a stand is a requirement. Without a stand, the temperature is around 90C, but with a stand (and not a cooling pad), the temperature when gaming is around 65C.
Fan: Noise is on par with any other gaming laptop.
Screen: Beautiful 4K OLED which is what you would expect.
As with positives, there are always negatives:
Screen: There is major glare so it is basically unusable when the sun is shining on it. I don't know if that is a design flaw or just the fact that it is an OLED. The 4K is great, but it makes everything including text very small using the standard settings. Not a problem but it takes getting used to and is personal preference.
Keyboard: Not the best but ok after you get used to it. The touch pad is bad and not at all sensitive enough even on the most sensitive setting so I find myself having to tap it rather hard. There are no dedicated Home, End, Page Up/Down keys but the Fn + Arrow keys do the job instead. I wish that was documented.
Now the really bad news. I had the laptop for only a month and had two major problems. The keyboard stopped working and a BIOS update broke the video. I have never dealt with worse customer service than with Razer, about the worst in the industry. Called them about this and they were not able to help me other than suggest I dispose of it and buy another model directly from them instead of through a retailer. Best Buy was great and let me exchange it for another one after a month of owning it. So far I have had the second one for several months and it has been problem free.
This should have been 5 stars but I am deducting one star because of having two unrelated problems within the first month, and for their horrible customer service not being able to fix it and suggesting I dispose of a new $3400 laptop and buy one from them.

Power gives Heat to this laptop

This system is great for most considerations, it has a loud sound system, excellent graphics and response time. I was not a fan of the keyboard, but I am used to mechanical, so the squishy feel really didn't appeal to me. I was disappointed in the cooling system that is used, everything got extremely hot with the additional monitor and type of work / gaming that I do. If you aren't stressing the system to the extreme end of graphics processing and computing power, it works well. The battery life has a rather short timeframe, but that is to be expected with this kind of graphics and processing power. I definitely recommend this system, but if you buy it, do plan on having some kind of cooling pad or lift system to keep the fans on the underside of the laptop having plenty of airflow. I don't know who in engineering though that the main fans on the bottom of the system was a good idea, you will burn yourself if you don't have something to shield your flesh.
A:Yes but only on the 4K UHD model. The other versions are not.
Make sure to read carefully on the model you are looking at. There is a i7 and i9 version that are
