Q: How do you upgrade the ram?
A: Typically I watch a few videos on YouTube of what I Want to upgrade. So for this Acer NITRO 5 i5 I would Search Acer NITRO 5 i5 memory upgrade and start with the shortest video and go back and watch the next larger video until I am comfortable that I can do it based on what I observe in the video. Sometimes I even take photos and video with my cellphone of the process to reference later if needed. I am a retired IT Tech that worked on computers for a private company. We worked on projects for NASA, NFL, CIA, Department of Defense as well as smaller companies and organizations. Our family just purchased the Acer NOTRO 5 i7 and will be upgrading the hard drives and 16 gig memory to 32 gig ram, so I will be watching videos on YouTube before doing these upgrades. We are talking about also purchasing two of these Acer NITRO 5 i5 11th gen laptops and upgrading the ram and hard drives.
