Q: Can I clean my area rug right where it is?on my hardwood floor? How wet does it get the rug?
A: Hi Cleanchick! You are able of cleaning your area rug on top of your bare floor. We recommend two dry strokes per wet stroke when cleaning to prevent water saturation. For example, prime the trigger as you push the cleaner forward. Release the trigger when pulling the unit back. Push the cleaner forward once more WITHOUT priming the trigger then back once more. This procedure is what we call, 2 dry strokes per wet stroke. Hope this helps! -Giselle, Hoover Customer Care
