JBL Xtreme Speaker: Enjoy high-quality audio at the poolside without worrying about getting this splash-proof speaker wet. Dual USB ports let you charge your USB devices for flexibility, and Bluetooth simplifies connectivity to your compatible mobile devices.
Q: Can you pair the JBL Xtreme with Flip 4? If so, how do you connect/pair them?
A: Unfortunately no. Flip 4 comes with connect+ whereas extreme has only connect. So far all my attempts have gone in vain.
Q: Does anyone know how this compares with the Aiwa Equos speaker? I'm torn between the two.
A: Extreme is better; promise you wont be disappointed
Q: How long does it take to fully charge this speaker? Also is the speaker long lasting?
A: The battery of the XTREME normally charges from 0 to full in 3.5 hours using the cable provided. And is rated to give up to 15-hours of playtime depending on volume level, the type of audio you are playing and the method of connection (Bluetooth or Wired).
Q: Will this hook up to old school ipod ? Wired no Bluetooth ?????
A: Yes. It has an AUX port in the back for wired connections. You'd must need to run an AUX cable from the iPod to the speaker.
Q: Does any one know how much the xtreme will be on black Friday i was looking to buy it , thanks
A: 150
Q: Is there a replacement power cord separate to buy?
A: Hi! Yes, you can purchase a replacement power cord for the JBL Xtreme speaker. We would like to work with you directly to help you with your issue. Please submit a case request at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.
A: It depends on how loud you have the speaker. At 50% volume, it lasts a good 16 hours so I would assume at 100% volume it would last about 8 hours.
Q: Can a take phone calls ????
A: Yes, it can be used as a phone. Once I am connected and listening to music or any other media, if the phone rings you can answer by hitting the answer button on your phone and the other party's voice and your voice are carried through the jbl speaker. Awesome! After you hang up, the music resumes on it's own. When I connect to the extreme via Bluetooth my phone asks me if I want both media and phone or just one of the two.
