Features
Increased horn size
A new, larger 90° x 90° silicone composite hybrid Tractrix® horn provides incredibly efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into the listening area for crisper, clearer sound. The phase plug and compression molded silicone face ensure smooth frequency response.
New cerametallic woofers
The 6.5” cerametallic woofers have been updated for absolutely flawless sound reproduction, minimum distortion, and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofer will deliver the power, detail, and emotion you expect from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker.
LTS titanium diaphragm tweeter
The exclusive linear travel suspension minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance.
2-way speaker system
Sounds like 1 source rather than several separate sources.
Advanced cabinet design
Additional bracing and a divided cabinet have been added to minimize cabinet resonances and vibrations, for the utmost transparency and clarity.
Removable grille
Attaches magnetically for an elegant transition from powerful showstopper to discrete performance piece.
Furniture grade materials and finishes
Finishes include ebony vinyl and walnut vinyl that boast satin painted baffles with a scratch resistant finish.
Improved input panel
Featuring audiophile-grade wire and easily accessible aluminum binding posts for any connection type.
44Hz - 25kHz frequency response
Ensures a wide range of accurately reproduced sound.
94dB sensitivity
Ensures crisp, robust audio.
8 ohms nominal impedance
Ensures efficient conduction of power through the speaker.
Tractrix ports
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere ports in the main channel allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies and cleaner, more powerful bass.
Bi-wiring and Bi-amping capability
Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities separate high and low-frequency current into different speaker cables, reducing distortion for clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for customization using outboard crossovers when using separate amplifiers.
Vented tweeter design
The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, resulting in enhanced detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction.
Cork pads
Cork pads replace rubber bumpers for security on a stand or table.

Wow!

Pretty decent speakers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great speakers - the regular price is probably far greater than it should be for these speakers, but they frequently go on sale. I got them on sale and am quite pleased with them so far. I think the only reason these are so pricy is just so that they can mark them down, and then people think they're getting a good deal.

Klipsch RP 600M 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paired with a Marantz 7012 receiver, just using a 2.1 channel setup ,movies and music mostly. These guys are good ( RP 600M 2) alone they have good go low ( for a bookshelf speaker) with good mids and highs music wise i am wanting for nothing, 2.1 and movies dialog is good without the annoying action scenes overpowering the voices , these will make you want to turn the volume up with music, personality I'm more of a moderate volume guy, all I can say is audition these for yourself and I think you'll be keeping them

Very Good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This really puts out a lot of sound. Excellent improvement over previous model. The horn increase genuinely helps the treble and puts the sound where you would want it. Comparing it to focal aria 905-906 this is close. Compared to svs ultra it is as good but not as good.

Great sounding speakers (…no sub needed!)
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paired these with a Monoprice 50W/CH tube /hybrid pre amp/amplifier and they sound outstanding in our living room space… (approx. 12X17 room.) If you keep an eye out you can find these on sale for up to 50% off from time to time…

Great surrounds.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am using these speakers for the surround set in a 7.1 surround sound system. As such, it is hard to give a very complete review, since they are hardly exercised at all, but the sound that does come out of them is balanced and transparent. They make for a great choice in this setup!

Q: QuestionIs this speaker available in walnut?
Asked by Porgand.
- A:Answer According to the Klipsch website they come in Brown/Walnut. Either black or brown is vinyl and not real wood veneer. But for the price and quality of the sound, these are the best speakers I have heard. Bestbuy only sells the Black ones, which look good.
