There are 2 types of products that we focus on for drops:

1. Products with limited releases.
2. Products with serious savings.

Either way, we will have limited inventory of these products due to their uniqueness or their great savings.

They are available for a limited time or until sold out.

Drops frequency varies. Check the Drops section on the Best Buy app often for new drops.

Yes. Go to the Drops section on the Best Buy app. Once there, browse the Upcoming Drops section and click on the “Notify me for drop” on any product you are interested in. About 30 minutes before the drop, you will receive a push notification from the app letting you know that the drop will start soon. Remember to review your app notification settings to ensure you’re receiving the notification.

Drops are only available for purchase within the Best Buy app and are unavailable in store or on a browser. Store Pickup is available for many Drops purchases.

No. Drops are only available on the Best Buy app.

Shipping costs may vary by drop. Select Drops products may be limited to Standard Shipping at time of purchase. Note: Signing up for a free My Best Buy™ account includes free shipping for most items sold from Best Buy (excludes Marketplace Products).

Limits per customer may apply to ensure that as many customers as possible are able to enjoy the serious savings or limited-release products.

Products from across all product categories.

You will only receive Drops notifications for products that you identify on the Best Buy app. For additional notification management, check your notifications settings within your mobile device.

Yes. A Drops purchase is the same as any other BestBuy.com or Best Buy store purchase. See our Return & Exchange Policy and procedures.

Yes. If you have previously purchased a Drops item from Best Buy and are within your Return & Exchange time period, we will match the Drops price if the item is being sold from Best Buy during the time the Drops offer is available (until the item has sold out or the event has ended). Excludes Marketplace Products.

My Best Buy Plus™ and My Best Buy Total™ members may see a lower price on a Drops product.

While rare, we may remove a product from a future drop.
