• I would return it. Mine came dented and the fan was rattling against the back cover because it was pushed in at the factory. I was able to bend it out and fix it but a burning smell could be a bad sign and cause a fire.

• It might be the light bulb inside it (ours makes a bzzz sound) or the heating element. Either way, thats not a safe product. Id suggest returning it immediately.

• haven't had this issue. is the burning smell more of a food burning smell or electric wire burning smell and is the food heating at a proper rate according to instructions.
