- Answer That is entirely dependent on where you live, what tuner and antenna you’re using. This is not a streaming service. Ta TV guide data so you can program your DVR and requires a computer running your tuner and a plex server program.

QuestionWhat is this? A Plex Pass lifetime pass through the official site or app is the same price, why would anyone buy it through Best Buy? This sounds super shady.

- Answer You can buy a Plex membership for yourself directly through Plex. However, if you want to buy a Plex membership as a gift (birthday, Christmas, whatever), Best Buy is really your only option. (I haven't done it yet, but it feels like you need to be a Best Buy member, as well as the recipient. I'll post more information - assuming Best Buy will let me edit this post - as I find out.)

QuestionWhat tv tuners work with this software? I have an AVer Media, Aver TV Hybrid Valar MAX with USB hook up to a computer. It worked well with win7 media center but now I have win 10. the antenna is a MoHU in my window.

- Answer The short answer is no. You can play shows recorded in Plex on your fire tv, but would need to setup and install Plex Server on a computer or streaming device that supports it, and has adequate storage..

QuestionI need a new streaming/caasting solurion. I live in South America. Chromecast and Firestick have begun to have bufferring problems. The Amazon Prime app allows downloads but bypasses my vpn so I'm geoblocked. Would Plex be a solution for me.

- Answer My tuner is a HDHomeRun, quad tuner. I have a dedicated computer running Ubuntu server, hosting the Plex media server in my home. It supports - and will record - up to 4 shows at once. Keep in mind, though, that it only supports 4 concurrent channels. If you want to watch live TV while it's recording, you'll need to reserve an open space. TLDR: yes, but use with caution.

- Answer You would need to install the Plex Serrver on a computer with adequate storage, and a Smart TV or Media Streaming Device that supports the Plex Client App.

- Answer Goto Plex.tv & get an account through Plex. Don't buy it from a 3rd Party. (it's the same price) Your account can run multiple servers on different devices. Windows, Mac, NAS, Linux, Nvidia Shield, etc. Your pass gives you access to Live TV recording plus makes the player app on all devices free with that account.
