“I am trying to replace my charger for my fitbit charge, not fitbit charge HR. Ordered one on Amazon but it is labeled Charge HR What is the difference? and which one should fit my fitbit?”

• The "male" connection on the cable for the FitBit Charge has three pins. The "male" connection on the cable for the FitBit Charge HR has only two pins. They are not interchangeable. The packaging on the box obscures the end so it is difficult to see that they are different. It makes no sense that they use different connections but an informed salesperson should know they are different.

• You will need one specifically for a Fit Bit Charge. I originally picked up the HR model. But my daughter told me it would not work. So I brought it back to Best Buy and they swapped them for me.

• The two chargers are not compatible! You must get the charger that is specific to the Fitbit Charge. I found this out the hard way!

• They have different ends. The charger has to be model specific. Best Buy sells Fitbit branded chargers that are clearly marked

• The charging cable will only work with the HR Fitbit. the difference is the connections are different to accommodate heartbeat.

• The Fitbit Charge HR includes heart rate monitoring whereas the Fitbit Charge doesn't include this feature. Please ensure you have the replacement cord that states Fitbit "Charge" & not Charge HR. The cords are different and will not work with your Fitbit "Charge." From Amazon it states: Fitbit Charge, Charging Cable, Amazon price, 19.95
