A:Answer if by increase GB you mean increase the storage, then yes the 2 terabyte model will cost more, if you are referring to the amount of RAM then yes, again you will need to pay more, but on the flip side, unless you have a huge amount of files that you need to store, than you will never scratch the surface of a 2 terrabyte Hard drive, in fact you would be hard pressed to fill a 1 terabyte hard drive!
The Ethernet cable is usually to connect your PC to the internet. usually Ethernet is faster than WI-FI but it is a wired connection so it has its draw backs
but before you say anything, yes this can connect to wifi.
And finally about the USBs the transfer rate is measured in gigabits, so theoretically USB 3.1 will have 10 gigabit speeds which roughly translates to about 1.25 gigabytes per second.
currently USB 3.1 has the fastest transfer speeds so far
so paying more will not get you anywhere with these.
This is mainly for transferring large files to a usb drive or an external hard drive.
