• A:Answer Launch was technically 11/10 I believe. The series x/s is difficult to get a hold of due to a shortage on parts, I believe PS5 is experiencing the same issue for the same parts. Best thing to do (really only thing to do) is keep an eye out for stock info and try to get on the website and be diligent. Have all of your pay info saved and updated ahead of time so you can get one in your cart and pay as quickly as possible.

• A:Answer Having used these plans MANY times on various electronics, I believe yes. You seem to have the option of store credit or replacing the item. I know with items that were out of stock I got instant store credit or refund to original payment. I believe even if they have the item in stock you can get store credit but am not 100 percent sure.

Q: QuestionDoes the 2-year geek squad protection for the Xbox series X start after the manufacturer warranty? I'm just wondering if you get the one year manufacturer warranty and then two years geek squad? So three years total?

• A:Answer The 2 year plan starts right from the purchase date of the console or item. The manufacturer warranty isnt taken into account in my experience. Manufacturer warranties are also more of a nuissance since you have to pay for shipping and send the items to them with LONG waits to get it back. With the store warranty you get the console replaced right away (given they have them in stock).

You would use up the Geek Squad Protection plan and need to purchase it back on the new controller too. So keep that in mind as well. I hope this helps! The protection plans go off of the price on the unit. So you can expect the protection for the Series S to be cheaper than the Series X, of course. So, if you weren't to swap out the PS4 for the same model, we'd put the money you paid back onto a gift card which could theoretically be used for anything i.e. a laptop, a bluetooth speaker, etc. I hope this helps!
