Q: QuestionOne of my Sony Linkbuds doesn't work most of the time. They were purchased April 20, 2022. Are they under a warranty?

Q: QuestionDoes that 2 year protection plan automatically come with the earbud and if so, my earbuds got left out in the rain and now wont charge can I bring them in for replacement or fixing.

• A:Answer The 2-year protection is an additional fee. If you still have the receipt, you should see a charge for it if you got it at the time. If you did, just bring it in, and they'll replace it. But you'd have to re-purchase the protection plan if you want to put it on the new pair. Usually, though, that fee is worth it, for cases like this. It saves money in the longrun.

Q: QuestionI purchased the Geek Squad Protection for my Link Buds S earphones recently, but unfortunately have misplaced the charging case. I understand lost or misplaced items are not covered under the plan, but is there anyway to get just a replacement case?

Q: QuestionMy wife bought a pair of Galaxy buds Pro 2 earbuds. She lost the case to charge them. I know it's replaceable for cheap but if the warranty is on the headphones and they ever stopped working is the warranty still valid considering she has both earbuds?

• A:Answer They should still be under warranty (assuming you mean the protection plan). If you were to return/exchange, though, make sure the new case with them, as that may end up being a factor if they accept it or not.

Q: QuestionIf my headphones get stolen can i use my protection plan and if they do does it lock the headphones out to the thief so they dont use it ?!

• A:Answer If it is applicable, you'd likely need a police report to prove they were stolen. Though, I doubt that'll work, you should communicate with police if possible. In either case, I don't think they can do anything like locking the headphones out. You'd have to go through the product manufacturer for anything like that, if it's even a feature.

• A:Answer Assuming that it's within the 2-year plan (and you purchased that plan when purchasing the product), you should be good! You can even get an exchange if you wish to try a different product instead. It doesn't even have to be equivalent in price, so you can go for an upgrade if there's a more reliable product you know of that could fix the bluetooth issue.

• A:Answer Sometimes like Apple they have their own insurance but as far as earbuds no you can get it depends on cashier they don’t always offer it so I always ask what’s the protection plan for that I’ve bought many many earbuds from Best Buy and always get geek squad protection plans and can always get a new pair or get gift card and get something else or another style and brand
