“I want a maker that will produce the small pebbles of ice, that you get at SONIC OR DAIRY QUEEN. Does this maker do that? Or anyone know of one that does? Thank you”

• This machine does not make that kind of a ice. It makes really thin oval shaped ice. The only machines I've see that make the ice like sonic were $1,000.00 and up

• You are looking for crushed ice these makes ice cubes about the size of your thumb. That's the small setting never used a large set in yet.

• This does not make nugget ice, like what you can find at Sonic. Look at search options for ‘crushed’ ‘nugget’ ‘pebble’ or ‘opal’ ice.
