Yes. I do not see why it wouldn’t. I have a 65 inch tv. I don’t think a 55 inch would be too small to fit on the bracket. I personally bought 2 of these, both for 65 inch TVs. There are several different screws and spacers that come with it for various types of TVs. I do not see there being an issue with a 55 inch TV. You may want to check the weight limits. But I’d assume I’d you have any TV that’s only a couple of years old, it would be light enough to fit almost any 55 inch TV. These look really nice. I attached a picture of both of mine. It’s a 65 inch TV, I haven’t put my other one on the second stand yet. But it should give you good reference.

Yes I mounted my 49" TV, there should be no issue mounting a 55"
