Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That’s a very tough question to answer, because did the food spoil because of the fridge malfunctioning or did the food spoil because of the power malfunctioning? If it’s in the fridge and you’re under warranty and quite simply put. You should be able to just call up your local Best Buy and say hi I bought this item is still under warranty. I paid for the extended warranty it’s not working correctly. Please come and fix or replace. However, if it’s a power outage, that’s not really Best Buy’s fault…. Because their fridge is working correctly it’s your power that wasn’t. The next question would be is why? Why did your power go out? If your power went out due to a storm or something that was unrelated to anything that you did then your power company I’m in Long Island so that would be PSEG should be responsible and more than likely they’ll give you a discount on your next bill, which should intern pay for any food that was spoiled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Food spoilage may be covered under your Homeowner’s/Renter’s Insurance policy. If not covered under this warranty, you may want to check with your insurance carrier :-)
