Q: QuestionI have a 2004 BMW 745li the factory logic 7 amp has failed can you guys install a aftermarket amp to replace the current one. I have a BMW lollipop in so that the rest of my electronics will still work by completing the fiber optic circuit .

• A:Answer many people underestimate their speaker wires, they will run a pack of wires to your head unit wire harness They will install an amp kit to include the RCA Leads from your head unit and the main power wire from your battery , you will have an amp turn on wire that they will tap into , that lets your head unit know there is an amp present, trust me when they are done it will be safe and sound ausome

Q: QuestionWill Best Buy Install the Wiring for an Amp? (Wiring Kit, Line Out Convertor) WITHOUT having the AMP? I just need the wires ran to my trunk. I don't have the AMP Yet......... I'm comfortable adding the amp, but do not feel like running the AMP Kit.

• A:Answer Probably not. If I were a professional installer, I would need to know exactly how large the amplifier was and how every input and output was placed on the amplifier before I chose a mounting location. It is critical to know every detail about the amplifier before installation so you know how to run every wire. I also think a best buy tech would have fits if you asked him to do all the work and then not finish it. I would hate to leave a job unfinished.

• A:Answer do you want to update both the sub and the amp. If So you will want a 10 or 12 inch sub in a sealed box, I have a s series 12 inch alpine sub in a sealed box and its hits very hard, and a mono amp is about $150 from alpine.. If you want crisp clear sound then go alpine

Q: QuestionHow do I complain about the installer refusing to install my amplifier?I was told my amplifier could not be installed because they needed to run power from my battery to the amp (of course) instead of using wiring behind my dash (which I thought was wrong). The wiring to my battery should be included and is recommended I thought. Was the installer being lazy and installed other amps on "accessory" level power or should I have demanded him to install it correctly?

• A:Answer You are always supposed to hook up a car amp to the battery. There is an ignition turn on wire so it's not always on... They know what they are doing.
