Yes you can plug a regular plug into it and Yes it does plug into a regular outlets. At first my son couldn't get it to fit right but my boyfriend got it to fit. As for plugs only going in half way, well, we had that problem as well. You just have to push it hard in there and after a couple of times of using it, problem gone. I love this product and wish I had it along time ago. It's awesome and as I said. I love it. Hope I was helpful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found that too. Just push extra hard. It'll go in. Might be a child proof safety measure, but haven't looked close enough to verify that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I initially couldn't get plugs to go in, but with a lot of pressure they did go in & it worked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a little bit of a problem also when I tried to insert a 2 Prong standard plug as well, due to the design in this Multi plug adapter having a Tamper proof built into the Outlets for Safety making it harder for young Children to insert items into the outlets. I would try plugging in a 3 prong heavy duty plug into each of the 4 outlets, generally after pluging in the 3 prong plug a few times for each of the 4 outlets, you should be able to plug in your Standard 2 Prong Plug !! Mine works great now !! Many new standard 3 prong Duplex outlets will have that Tamper proof safety feauture, however the old style Duplex are still available !! You will have to push in the plug with force the first few times, if this doesn't work take it back for an exchange !! Hopes this helps George
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem. So I thought I'll just force it and if it breaks, I'll take it back. Pushed real hard and finally the plug(s) went in. Didn't break and works better after the first time.
