QuestionHT-J4500 Blu-Ray won't output sound from a blu-ray disk. The voices are muffled but the sound effects are clear. J4500 is connected by hdmi to an older Samsung LN40B550 TV. Directing sound to the TV works OK but can't get theater sound to work.

- Answer I had the same problem until I changed one of the TV sound options: My old Sony KDL-40M4000 has an option under the Sound menu (note icon). I turned Steady Sound ON. Magically works again.

- Answer yes, and the included wires are woefully short, so if you are not using it ina really SMALL room (8x8 or smaller) expect to need to splice wire to make the connections reach

QuestionHi, we have this system, but it only seems to work if a broadcast item was recorded in Surround Sound. For example, a normal CD doesn't play through all the mini=speakers. Have we not got it set up correctly? Thanks, J
