Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.BESTBUY DELIVERED!!! We had the same problem. Some of the cameras were fogging, were less sensitive, and then the hard drive finally failed after 19 months. We needed scaffolding and laborers to replace the cameras and/or wiring. This would require a full set up and take down for replacement if the system was in stock. The unit was not in stock so it would require set up/take down X2. All of the wiring is internal so we left that. So we ordered a new unit online for delivery to the home. When the new unit arrived, we had it tested with the old cameras. Then we had the scaffolding set up and had the cameras and the recorder swapped using the old (identical) wiring. We returned the unit to the store and were given a gift card for the amount of purchase of the old unit and we think the gift card was less the cost of the four year protection. Either way, the protection is absolutely necessary.
