I have a Bose Acoustimass 10 Series V Home Theater Speaker System. The Center Front Speaker is 3.4" (3 13/32") high, so if you have 4" vertical, you should be OK. The following are the dimensions/weights of the AM 10 Series V HTSS speakers from the Owner's Guide, which is downloadable from the internet: Center Front Speaker: 3.4"H x 7.3"W x 3.2"D (8.6cm x 18.5cm x 8.1cm). 2.2 lb (1 kg). Cube Speaker (4 ea): 7.4"H x 3.2"W x 3.3"D (18.8cm x 8.1cm x 8.4cm). 2.2 lb (1 kg). Module: 16.3"H x 8.1"W x 25.3"D (41.4cm x 20.6cm x 64.3cm). 35 lb (15.8 kg). I have measured each speaker/module to confirm the Bose dimensions. While their dimensions in inches are correct, Bose's metric conversions were miscalculated (1" = 2.54cm), so I have provided the corrected metric dimensions. If you're planning on mounting your AM 10 Series V speakers on the wall or ceiling, you will need the Bose UB-20 Series II Speaker Bracket (Mount). You must use the Series II mount; earlier versions are not physically compatible with the Acoustimass Series V speakers. In the wall mount configuration, the mount arm will extend the speaker approximately 2 3/8" from the wall, and the speaker will have some ability to be adjusted in left/right rotation and up/down tilt. If you prefer a flush mount to the wall, use the Bose WB-50 Bracket. These Bose mounts come in either Black or White. If you choose the Bose Acoustimass 10 Series V HTSS, I think you'll be impressed with its performance. It can handle up to 200W per channel at 4-8 ohms. However, the speaker system is only half the equation; if you don't already have one, you'll need a compatible AV Receiver (or amplifier if not part of a home theater system) to drive the full performance residing in those Bose speakers. I hope this information helps the person with the specific question, as well as anyone looking for information relating to the Bose Acoustimass 10 Series V HTSS.
