QuestionDo these speakers work with the Bose Lifestyle 18 Series II Media Center?

- Answer No probably not the lifestyle systems use the media center a a controller but the amp is in the sub unit. This model is passive and requires an external amp to power. There are probably some funky workarounds but it’s not a direct replacement because of the passive bass unit.

QuestionI have a Bose Acoustimass Series II Home System. System is 20+ years old. There is no base output. All cubes are working. Will a new Acoustimass 10 Series V Powered Base Module work with the Series II Cubes?

The system will require a home theater receiver to connect to your television. Best Buy has a great selection of receivers. The 5 surround speakers will connect to the Acoustimass bass module, and the bass module will connect to a receiver. For your interests, we would recommend the new Bose Soundbar 700, along with the Bass Module 700 and wireless Surround Speakers. This package offers incredible 5.1 audio, with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This system does not require a receiver. The speakers and bass module connect wirelessly to the soundbar. QuestionHi! with regards to AM 10V, is the sorround effect won't be affected if the rear speakers are be placed in the front? i don't want to run the speaker cables towards the rear side. Thanks

To fully enjoy the system, the rear speakers should be positioned behind you in the room. For your interests, we would recommend a system such as the SoundTouch 300 soundbar and Acoustimass 300 bass module. The SoundTouch 300 can connect directly to your TV without the need for a receiver, and it produces excellent simulated 5.1 surround sound. If you choose a receiver that includes built-in Bluetooth, you can stream music via Bluetooth to the receiver and it will play through the speakers. If you are not interested in using a receiver, we would recommend a system such as the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar with the Virtually Invisible 300 rear speakers and Acoustimass 300 bass module. - Answer Yes you may but you might have to do some wire splitting since all the satellite wires join up at the subwoofer via a pin connector. Keep in mind that you might lose sound quality when you do this.
