Questiondo the speakers need to be wired to the unit

- Answer The subwoofer, center, front left, and front right speakers are all wired directly to the player. The left and right surround sound speakers are wired to a separate box that has a wireless connection to the player. This keeps you from having to run wire across the room to the player.

QuestionSpeaker volume controlCan you control the volume from the various speakers independent of each other. Basically trying to be able to hear voices rather than all the other background sound.

- Answer Yes you can. There are two ways to control each speaker... there is adjustment for dB level of each speaker and there is a 'distance' adjustment for each speaker as well.

- Answer yes. there is a flexible cord antenae and the stations came in clear. you have to go through all stations individually to program it to set for the one you want. it allows 15 programed in stations. no AM radio.

- Answer Had the same problem initially with the set up. Had to unplug the main unit & start over - then it worked.

- Answer No, all speakers should work. I have mine set up with an optical cable and everything works. The only thing is that, yes they do sound lower in volume than the rest, but everything should work together.

QuestionJust bought this unit. Am I doing something wrong or are the rear speakers really that low in volume. I have adjusted the individual volume and the distance, both to the max and you have to put your ear by them to even hear them. What am I missing?

- Answer I had the same problem. Then I reread and instructions said rear speakers are not always in use. Sometimes for special effects only.

- Answer I think you want to know if the rear speakers are wireless. I'm going to answer based on that! The rear speakers are actually semi-wireless. They are not hooked to the main unit by wires but there is a wireless receiver that can be placed very close to where you want to mount the speakers and the speakers are wired to that box. There are some wires involved on all the speakers but it isn't nearly as bad a full wired speaker that emanate from the main head unit.

- Answer Yes. But the unit will play not play Netflix, Hulu or anything else with the surround sound. It will play on the front two speakers and that's all.

- Answer There's an audio jack in the back of the system, but if you use the Bluetooth on your iPhone, it will connect to the system and you can play music that way.

- Answer Since they're both connected with the HDMI cable, any sound from the TV will come thru the theatre system. This home theatre also includes Hulu, YouTube, Netflix, and other online video services.

- Answer I found that you have to wiggle it a little while doing the speaker test. make sure your not clamping the plastic casing on the wire.

QuestionHow to hear sound from all 5 speakers?I tried to play the audio from following list of sources, 1. Ethernet Connection 2. USB 3. Bluetooth 4. Digital In But it is not playing audio in all of the five speaker except digital in even the audio contains 5.1 channel. I never tried the dvd/bd yet. Also in sound settings the Digital Output is set to PCM and it is grayed out. What setting i need to do in order play sounds in all speaker from all sources?

- Answer Check the center speaker. Most movies are set for voice to come from that speaker.

QuestionAre all the speakers wireless, especially the rear? I read one question that mentioned a receiver box for the rear speakers that needs power. I envision a 110V rear wireless receiver with 2 wired speakers running from the wireless receiver. Am I correct?

- Answer They are not wireless, I make same mistake ,when I brought the system,I asked to the seller question to Best Buy guys ,and they tell me YES they are wireless .......WRONG , I strongly believe that some Best Buy employees needs more information about what they selling ,Anyway i keep it for my son room P.S The system has five speakers,a subwoofer and a wired module This “module” is a small box like a Nintendo console, is not wireless either, but sounds are ok All speakers and module has to be wired connected Hope the information help, my English is not perfect

- Answer Yes. I have a set of speakers from an old system from another Samsung system. If nothing is wrong with them, and the speakers can handle the output, use them.

Questionif speakers in back are wireless how long is the battery life on them

- Answer What battery? There is an extra box to receive the signal and that plugs into an outlet and they plug into it. So they are not Completely wireless just don't have to run their wires all the way around the room just across the back of the room. Hope that helped.
