Also I use it to sterilize clothes and everything I have contact with inside and outside my home. If used correctly you can do many other uses also. • A:Answer UV-C is far more energetic/damaging to skin & eyes than UV-A/UV-B. Most casual eyewear are not even rated for UV-C protection, because the thickness of our planetary atmosphere blocks 100% of UV-C coming from the sun at ground level. This wand radiates UV-C at close range. There is no way for air molecules to provide any nearby UV-C absorbtion. Likewise, UVA/UVB blocking casual eyewear doesn't even pretend to block UV-C. Only certified UV-C blocking protective eyewear will protect against nearby UV-C light. If your "reading glasses" are rated to block 100% of UV-C, then they'll do. That said, eyewear alone will not protect the uncovered skin of your face. UV-C exposure can cause skin damage that might not become apparent until days after exposure. Please be safe. Keep the wand 2cm from the surface you want to scan, with 10s scanning time, it will generate 5000 uJ power and its SGS lab tested to be able to kill larger bacteria like E-Coli,Staphylococcus Aureus etc. Virus is much smaller and easier to kill Vs. E-Coli. Also, there are many fake UVC product online, 59s is so far the only one with EPA, SGS, FDA medical class one certification, we are the leading UVC factory and brand in the industry, we do not go with fake UVC LED, and we do not mix UVC led with UVA/UVB leds.

• A:Answer When the UVC wand (X5) is 2cm away from the surface/obeject, it generate power of 300-500uw/cm2. Joules is the power generated multiply by the time of scanning the surface, and that estimated to be 5000 micro joules per 10s, which is tested by SGS lab that can efficiently kills germs and virus.
